Traffic's indeed really bad in Bangkok. We took 2.5hrs to be back from the floating market. We departed at 12pm and only reached at 2.30pm.
We were so starved by the time we reached back the hotel. We decided to go to Terminal 21 opposite the hotel to settle our lunch.

We went to ThaiThyme, an Italian Thai theme restaurant for lunch. Below is the spread that we ordered:
1. Fried chicken wings with tamarind sauce - the wings are marinated with Thai herbs and deep fried. It's tossed with garlic flakes and accompanied with tamarind sauce. Thumbs up.
2. Caprese salad - cheese with tomato. Not fantastic as compared to those from an authentic Italian restaurant but still acceptable.
3. Bacon with spaghetti - crispy bacon fried with carbonara sauce and spaghetti. This is from a my brother in law who is a bacon lover. Simple awesome!
4. Bolognese beef pasta - sourish tomato sauce with pasta. It's very appetizing as its not too thick in gravy consistency.
5. Stir fried fish nuggets with black pepper sauce - simple Thai version spaghetti. Though it's just stir fried with black pepper, it's really good.
6. Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts and pasta - another Thai version pasta that deserves 2 thumbs up. Generous ingredients stir fried in sweet and sour sauce.
7. Mango sticky rice - a must order dessert with 4 thumbs up. The rice is so fragrant and to the right texture. A very very good dish.
8. Chocolate lava cake - rich and dark chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Surprisingly it's very good and comparable to some other cafes in SG.
This is another option to choose from if one is sick of pure Thai food.
