Chinatown complex food centre is well known for various good food stalls. One food commonly found among the stalls is steam fish head.
Whether it's steam with black bean or fried garlic, there are many stalls with this option available. For a start, we tried the steam fish head with fried garlic from HK Mongkok Kui Ji Kitchen. The stall owners were very friendly and approachable.
Besides their popular steam fish head, they recommended us their homemade fried prawn roll. Vegetable is a must for us, so we ordered fried di huang miao with garlic. All these dishes cost us $30 and rice was free.

Portion was definitely generous. Food taste wise simply awesome as well, especially for the fried prawn roll. The fried prawn roll comes with their homemade plum sauce which was an awesome combination.
Every bite into the prawn roll can feel and taste the sweetness and crunchiness of the chestnut bits. You can also see fresh prawn pcs in the roll. A must order dish!!

The steam fish head with fried garlic was soft and tender as well. There was no mud smell at all as the sauce and fried garlic was very very fragrant. The sauce drizzled into plain rice could have one just eat it like this.
The fried di huang miao tasted very home cooked. Other than that, nothing too special to comment on.
