Another Eatigo deal that we have found to celebrate our lunchies' birthday. Buffet lunch at Food Capital is going for 50% off the original price. At $29+++ after discount, one can enjoy an international buffet spread. 

The ambience of the hotel was excellent with great service provided by the staff. The spread wasn't large but the quality and taste of food was good. The sashimi are freshly cut and served as you request. 

The poultry dishes are very good with excellent tenderness and taste. Would say every condiments and sauces accompanying the food was great as well. The taste of India spread was so authentically done especially for the chicken curry. For Indian food lovers, don't give this section miss! 

Moving onto desserts, though the spread and qty isn't a lot, but the quality and taste of the desserts were delicious and goes very well with a cup of good coffee from the baristo coffee machine.

For 50% off, it is a value for money buffet spread for family and frenz to enjoy and chit chat. Else it might be a little expensive to consider.

The Carvery at Alexandra Park Central Hotel

The Carvery at Alexandra Park Central Hotel is having a 1 for 1 promotion for UOB Card holders for their lunch and dinner buffet from Sun to Thurs till end Nov 2016. 

Alexandra Park Central Hotel is conveniently located beside Ikea and is a rather new hotel launched just this year.

A group of us were there for a little celebration and concluded that The Carvery is a place for meat lovers. The main focus of the buffet is at the main roast table where they serve roasted beef, pork and chicken. The meat were succulent and tender. Even the chicken breast tasted so soft. 

The meat was juicy and this was the first time that I really enjoyed the roasted pork. Yum Yum. The rest of the buffet dishes include several English vegetable like baked pumpkin and corn, poached vegetables like broccoli and roasted asparagus. 

There is a small pizza and pasta counter and lastly a dessert counter. Must try items are all the roasted meat, salmon, roasted pumpkin and corn, polenta fries and stewed mushrooms. A must try dessert is their pistachio panna cotta. 

The buffet comes with free coffee or tea. Although the food qty isn't a lot, but the quality is good and fresh, especially the roast meat.
