Today, we saw that they are having a new promotion: 50% off any side dish for purchase of healthy beef curry rice. Indeed when the curry came, it didn't look like the normal curry. It was not oily at all and in fact a little watery.
No coconut milk was used. The dish didn't give us the woo factor as the taste was rather flat. No wonder the healthy version.
Nevertheless, the other dishes were still quite good. The soy sauce chicken was very tender and well marinated. So good on its own with rice. The chap chye was still as good as last time.
In fact we found the portion a little bigger this round. Lastly we had my favorite radish omelette.
I am on an omelette craze these days. Their radish omelette is rather different from other restaurants or tze char stall. It is sweet but not salty. But gives a different feel and taste. Egg was fluffy and light.

Curry Times still serve as an affordable nonya restaurant to try with family and friends. But for curry dishes, it is still recommended to go for the usual and more sinful curry chicken.
