Located at level 1 of Far East Plaza, Nana Original Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem to try if one loves Thai food. It has 2 other branches at Clementi and Golden Mile Complex.
With no GST and service charge, this restaurant serves a wide range of authentic Thai food that deserves recommendation. Ordering is done via paper and food is served promptly after ordering.
1. Mango salad ($6) - generous portion of shredded mango tossed with small shrimps, cut chilli and thsi fish sauce. Awesome mixture and just to the right sweet and tangy taste. Rating: 4/5
2. Half grilled chicken ($7) - tenderly grilled 1/2 chicken with sweet and sour thai sauce. The meat is juicy and tender and finger-lickin' good! Rating: 4.3/5
3. Tomyum seafood soup ($12) - generous seafood in hot and spicy tom yum soup served in claypot to restore the heat. Spicy and good! Rating: 4/5
4. Basil chicken with rice and omelette ($7) - generously and fragrantly fried basil minced chicken with long beans and omelette. Serves as a very good 1 dish meal for some. Rating: 4/5
5. Lad chong dessert with coconut milk ($3) - a great dessert to end a spicy and fiery meal. Not too sweet and coconutty. Rating: 3.9/5
We would definitely patronise the restaurant again to try the rest of the dishes. There are much more to try and do stay tuned.
