Located in the quiet Grantral Mall at Clementi, K Toast is opened by a humble middle-aged Korean man who puts in great effort in making the toast. The toasts looked very much like those sold at Issac Toast but at a more affordable price.
There are few seats along the walkway opposite the shop for dine-in customers. Fortunately there wasn't much crowd on a Sat morning. Their highly recommended toast will be their hot bulgoggi/bulgoggi toast and chicken toast, both priced at $4.90 each.
The hot bulgoggi/bulgoggi comprises of a slice of juicy beef patty topped with sauce, pickles, egg, cheese and shredded cabbage. The toast are panfried with butter as well. The chicken toast is the same except for the patty.

One bite into the toast sent the sauce oozing out from the toast. We personally felt that there wasn't much buttery taste on the toast and a little too saucy which made the sandwich too sweet. We are more inclined towards Issac in terms of taste. Probably the toast originally tasted better with the owner's skill but now the shop has been tended out to 2 young students to handle.
Though their toasts wasn't as good, we must give praise to their coffee. Their Americano and latte deserves 2 thumbs up with pricing at $2.50 and $3.20. Its very fragrant yet not overly roasted.
Overall, for an affordable toast for breakfast, K Toast is definitely a place to try. Hopefully they are able to attract more crowd.
