Issan Thai food is a small food stall located in Tanjong Pagar Plaza Food Center serving authentic Northern Thai food.
It is one of the few food stalls that remain open in the evenings and thus, it is quite popular among the working class doing OT.

We were there this evening to try out their few recommended dishes and were so glad that they were up to expectations.
1. Basil chicken rice ($5.50) - fragrantly fried basil chicken with rice and egg. The basil chicken is a little spicy and it provides the "chilli kick" in the dish. Rating: 4/5
2. Mango salad ($4.50) - tangy food that stimulates one appetite. The sauce combi that is just right. Rating: 4/5
3. Fried omelette ($5.50) - deep fried fuffy egg with spring onions and onion. Love this dish! Rating: 4.2/5
