This is a definitely must try tendon restaurant in Kyoto. This restaurant is situated at Teramachi, which is a shopping district just near Nikishi market.
Fortunately we were there early and was able to get a table on their 2nd level. One can see 2 chefs busily preparing the tendon at the counter. Just wondering how many bowls of tendon they produce...

We ordered 2 different tendon, one was with conger eel and mushroom while the other was the standard bowl with just fish.
The tendons were drizzled with their special made sauce which seems to be more watered down as compared to the ones in SG. But the taste was still as good. The tempura batter was much lighter, unlike in SG. After eating half a bowl, we could still continue without the greasy feel.
Surprisingly for such a huge and generous dish portion. And best thing was we do not have the tendon smell on our clothes after eating. The exhaust system was excellent!
For tendon lovers, this is definitely recommended. Thus, do put this down in your itinerary when you visit Kyoto.
