Besides ramen, Ippudo also serves side dishes like gyoza and rice. We were shown to the counter seat and ordered the following item:
1. Akamaru modern special - special blended miso paste and fragrant oil brings harmonial taste to the ramen broth. The noodles have a springy and chewy texture. This bowl of noodle serves the versatile modern version of the traditional tonkutsu ramen. Rating: 4.2/5
2. Hakata Chikara Meshi - this is actually japanese char siew rice. Slices of tendor pork drizzled with sauce on rice. Awesome with each pork melting in your mouth. Rating: 4.5/5
3. Gyoza - crispy skin with juicy meat filling. Every bite sent the juice splurting in the mouth. Simply delicious. Rating: 4.5/5
Ippudo ramen has definitely live to its standard. Simply awesome!
