Bangkok: Have a Zeed by Steak Lao at Terminal 21

We are on 5 day family trip this Xmas to Bangkok. Our vacation stay venue is at Westin Grande Sukhumvit and this hotel is easily accessible to Terminal 21 which is a huge shopping centre located just opposite the hotel. 

Our first lunch venue was at this modern Thai cafe by the name of Have a Zeed by Steak Lao. It was rather crowded during lunch hours and we gotta wait for about 15 mins before being shown to our seats. 

Here's our lunch order: 

1. Minced basil pork with steam rice. This is a very spicy dish as the minced pork is fried with chilli padi. Being the land of rice, the steam rice is very fragrant and QQ and goes very well with the basil dish. 

2. Pad see eew seafood - flat Thai rice kway teow fried with seafood. Very generous with ingredients and so fragrantly fried.

3. Fried rice with crab meat - with the awesome rice fragrance, each rice is also evenly coated with fried eggs. The rice is fried with the freshest ingredients. 

4. Spicy mixed mushroom soup - basically it is Tom yum soup with mushroom. Nothing too special to comment about.

5. Lard nar pork - Thai style horfun with pork. Gravy was thick and garlicky. Pork was tender and overall taste good. 

6. Stir fried vegetables - this dish was a tad too salty for our liking. 

7. Coconut ice cream - fragrant coconut ice cream topped with peanuts. There is also fresh coconut flesh accompanied with it. Very good dessert to order. 

Overall, Have a Zeed by steak Lao is a well worth Thai cafe to visit. So give it a try when you are here at Terminal 21. Though small in portion, ingredients so generous.
