Ang Mo Kio, being a popular town center, is filled with lots of hawker centres, food courts and restaurants. Just food courts alone, there are the air-con ones at AMK hub and another 2 more S11 non air-con food courts.
Today, we decided to explore one of the non air-con S11 food court just next to McDonalds. Looking across all the tables, people are basically eating to main food, chicken rice and minced meat noodle. Since it's lunch time and we decided not to have something too heavy, we decided to try the minced meat noodle stall.
We ordered their signature noodle at $5.50 per bowl. I ordered "mee kia" and hubby ordered "mee pok". We were surprised by the generosity of the ingredients. So much minced meat, braised pork ribs, fish and pork ball and mushrooms. There was right amount of vinegar and chilli/tomato ketchup in the noodles. Superb!! Noodle was not too soggy too. Definitely worth its price.
We will definitely be back for the noodles again but the next round, we would try the chicken rice stall too.
