Dim sum seems to be our once a week affair. For today, we decided to go to our favourite hunt, Clementi to look for Kowloon Dim Sum, a halal dim sum restaurant managed by Malays. Situated at 321 Clementi, Kowloon Dim Sum is situated right opposite Toasties ( a halal sandwich restaurant like Subway).
As we entered the restaurant, it was crowded and noisy. We gotten to sit at a table near the kitchen and started ordering food.
This restaurant is popular for its salted egg lava bun. Of course this is a must order and we ordered their charcoal version. Generous with its salted egg lava filling, it was oozing out the moment you peel open.
So lovely... besides the bun, we decided to try their other tze char dishes like sambal chicken, fried string beans with minced pork and fried sotong you tiao. Sambal chicken and string bean dish are great but sotong you tiao was just so so.

There are many other dishes that one could try like salted egg fried fish skin, herbal chicken, etc etc. We will be back to give the rest of the dishes a 2nd try but not anytime soon.
