About 3 weeks ago, we tried dim sum at Legendary HK. Today, we decided to try the Taiwanese culture there. Situated beside Grandma's, Woo Ricebox is a smaller restaurant sharing its space with GongCha. Woo Ricebox sells the popular 便當 kind of Taiwanese food where one can get in Taiwan train stations.
The food is packed nicely in takeaway bento boxes. We ordered their signature bento (which comes with one huge pc of deep fried pork, preserved vegetables, braised beancurd and eggs), their new creation of pork noodles and added $4 for their soup and side dish.
Their signature bento really gives one a feeling that you are back in Taiwan. Pork was soft and tender, with the right amount of seasoning. Similarly pork noodles are well done but portion is a little small.
The soup of the day was old cucumber soup. Smooth, tasty and not too oily. The only lacking factor was the pumpkin side dish which was tasteless.

All dishes are charged with 10% GST and no service charge. Coz one gotta go get your own food when buzzer rings. One could order Gongcha to complete the Taiwanese feel.
