Finally after a long hectic work week, I am back to my food exploration. Though it was tiring after work, we decided to travel further to town to try out new food. Today's choice is Asian Kitchen situated at the basement of Raffles City Shopping Centre.
Though they are popular for their roasted duck dish, we have decided to give it a miss and try their other duck dish. The duck spring roll!! Juicy roasted duck and spring onions wrapped in popiah skin. Very well done with their homemade sweet sauce.
Besides the roll, we ordered their salted egg string beans, claypot tofu and sweet and sour pork. The vegetable dishes were good but nothing too commendable abt the sweet and sour pork. In fact there are other tze char stalls that serve better pork. It's more of eating fried flour than tasting the pork.
Overall, the food is average except for the duck spring roll and portion is small. Better food could have been served in other restaurants.
