The craze for Korean fried chicken is still lingering in Singapore. From 4Fingers to ChickenUp, there are more and more Korean fried chicken stalls setting up and Chir Chir Chicken is one of them. Their first stall was at Somerset 313 and now they have 2 other branches at Bedok Point and Chinatown Point.
Luckily we were there before 6pm. Though we still had to queue, we only waited for 5 mins. Guess it was easier to get a table for 2. We decided to try their new menu items, honey butter chicken that serves 2 and mango salad.
The waitress told us that we had to wait half hr for the chicken and we decided to give it a go since it was still early. The salad came within 5 mins upon ordering. Using fresh mangoes, the salad was mixed with yoghurt, blueberries, cherry tomatoes and olives. It was refreshing and portion was huge!
Thinking that we had to wait much longer, we were surprised that the honey butter chicken came in 15 mins. Besides the juicy chicken, there are fried tteokbokki and potato wedges, sprinkled almond slices and cranberries. Lastly, the dish was drizzled lightly with honey.
The first bite into the boneless chicken sent a wow factor in us!! So nicely fried and juicy. It tasted so good with the cream sauce that came with it. The tteokbokki and wedges tasted excellent too. Overall 2 thumbs up!!

Chir Chir Chicken is definitely a place to recommend for Korean fried chicken and we will be back.
