Strictly Pancakes at Prinsep Street

We bought this Groupon voucher 3 months ago. Have always wanted to eat here but we ended up changing our minds the last minute. In the end, we will need to eat this today as the voucher is to expire soon.

Strictly Pancakes is located at Prinsep Street where there are a chain of bars and restaurants. As the restaurant is named, they serve mainly pancakes. 

There are savoury and sweet ones, depending on your preference. Since we are here for dinner, we went for the savoury ones.

Kevin ordered the standard and recommended dish called chicken a la king.


It's pan-fried chicken fillets topped with sweet onions and butter sauce. This is served with 3 pancakes decorated with asparagus. 

There are 4 choices of butter to choose from: salted, unsalted, garlic & herb and rum & raisin. The rum and raisin is recommended for sweet pancakes. Kevin took the unsalted butter. As for me, I did a mixed and match. 

I ordered their medium stack (3 pancakes) with sauteed mushrooms and chicken chipolata. I chose garlic and herb butter. Would say that their pancakes are very well done, so soft and fluffy. It's so good that you can even eat it on its own. 

Kevin's chicken was tender and overall goes very well with the butter sauce and pancakes. My sauteed mushrooms was nice as well.

Overall, Strictly Pancakes' pancakes are definitely worth a try so why not drop by since the Groupon offer is still on.
