Hot Tomato at Westgate

Hot Tomato was actually one of our consideration for dinner yesterday. Unfortunately it has closed down at Star Vista. Today we decided to satisfy our desire at Westgate. Located B1 of Westgate, Hot Tomato is situated in between MK restaurant and Long John Silver.

Fortunately we were there early today, so didn't have to queue very long for our seats. Here's our dinner menu:

1. Teriyaki chicken spaghetti set meal

2. Sirloin steak spaghetti dessert set

Teriyaki chicken set comes with mushroom soup and drink. Food was served promptly. Soup was thick with mushroom bits in it. It was too creamy for our liking. 


The teriyaki chicken spaghetti was good. Aglio oglio spaghetti with grilled teriyaki chicken. 

Spaghetti was tasty and fragrantly fried. Chicken so tenderly grilled to the right texture. It comes with side salad as well which was good to remove the greasiness. Kevin's set was with sirloin steak. He asked for medium well but it came out to be medium. 

The outer layer was tough and inner layer not well cooked. Taste wise was ok but not the texture. The dessert set has a choice of dark chocolate cake or tiramisu. We chose tiramisu. Appearance looks delicious but taste wise so so. 

Couldn't taste the mascaporne cheese and was tad too sweet.

For an economical western meal, Hot Tomato could definitely be considered.
