We are back at Grand Mandarina the 2nd time for dinner. This time, Kevin brought his parents along and we bought the higher value Groupon voucher of $96 worth $160.
We ordered different dishes from the last round except for the crispy brinjal with floss and curry powder. We still love it's crispiness and curry taste. Below are the rest of the dishes ordered:
1. London truffle duck - one London roasted duck with truffle sauce. Simply awesome... The skin is crispy and not fatty and meat so tender.
2. Kailan with lily bulbs and gingko - stir fried lightly while retaining the vegetable freshness.
3. Braised sea cucumber with mushroom - my mother in law love this dish. No fishy taste and very well cooked with the braised sauce.
4. Sweet and sour fish slices - fresh fish slices coated with sweet and sour sauce. Portion was generous and it goes very well with plain rice.
Overall, my parents in law really enjoyed their food and the food standard is still good as compared to the first round.
Definitely a very nice family restaurant to visit while the offer is still on.
