Nene Chicken is another popular korean fried chicken chain among the youths. Would actually consider it as a fast food chain rather than restaurants like chir chir chicken, twins etc.
Nene chicken has a few branches and we were at their star vista branch for dinner today. We ordered their standard 4pc chicken set meal per person. Flavour chosen was swicy. Swicy is chicken in sweet and spicy sauce. The set meal comes with a small side dish like corn, coleslaw or radish and also fries or rice.
We chose the fries. The fries are thin and very crispily fried. The chicken is dosed with sweet and spicy sauce. Would consider it more sweet than spicy. Definitely not comparable to chir chir chicken.
For 8.90 per set, it is definitely more affordable than the other korean fried chicken restaurants but we will probably not give it a 2nd try.
