This is another excellent bargain from Eatigo! 50% off all food items on the menu at 6pm. Cubre Libre cafe is a Mexican cafe and bar located at Blk B Clarke Quay. Dinner starts at 6pm and we were actually the 1st customers there.
Recommended dishes are cuban roast, quesadilla and calamari frittos. Cuban roast is their chef recommended 1/2 grilled chicken topped with mushroom sauce and served with salad and truffle fries. One could really taste the truffle from the fries and chicken tasted excellent.
We ordered chicken cajun and mango salsa quesadilla served with sour cream and avocado sauce. The mango gave the quesadilla its tanginess which Chicken removes the greasiness feel. Excellent combination.
The calamari frittos deserve 2 thumbs up as they were fried in a special in-house batter and they tasted so good on their own without the garlic mayo sauce. Simply awesome!

One could actually continue with drinks and do some catching up with frenz as the bar starts at 9pm.
Cuba Libre is definitely a great place for Mexican food and even so more worth while with Eatigo.
