Our first time exploring hawker food in the East of Singapore. Bedok Interchange Hawker Center is well known for its delicious food that even the Jurongers will travel all the way down to try the food.
One of the famous stall will be the Bedok chwee kueh. Although they have many branches, nothing beats the original stall in Bedok.

Being just the 2 of us, we explored other dishes that seemingly looked delicious and recommended.
1. Ming Hui Nasi Lemak
Delicious and economical nasi lemak with a queue starting as early as 5pm. We had fried chicken wing, cabbage, sambal eggplant and luncheon meat at just $3.20!! The fried chicken wing is must order as it is so fragrantly and crispily fried. The rice however is not as fragrant as the Holland V nasi lemak. Awesome! Rating: 3.8/5
2. Penang Kitchen
Thought they will be selling authentic penang food but what was recommended instead is their fried fish lor mee at $4. The ingredients were generous and gravy consistency just at the right texture. Simply awesome in taste! Rating: 4/5
3. Xin Kee Signature Curry House
Xin Kee is known for their healthy yet tasty curry dishes. At $4.50, it offers a bowl of 2 curry drumsticks and potato with rice. Though not very thick, it still had the strong curry flavor and no coconut taste. Rating: 3.8/5
We would definitely be back to try the other stalls but this time, we would gather much more people so that we can try more food at a go. So stay tune!
