Peony Jade Restaurant was first opened on September 2004 at Clarke Quay. The restaurant specializes in traditional Sze chuan and Cantonese cuisines.
Situated in an area lined with pubs and western restaurants, it created a twist in environment for diners who preferred Chinese cuisine yet experience the night life and beautiful scenary of Singapore river.
Peony Jade had launced their weekend ala-carte lunch and dinner buffet for quite a while and have received many positive feedbacks. With the standard chartered card promo of every 3 adults, 1 dines for free, more people are flocking to the restaurant to experience quality chinese dining at affordable prices. The ala-carte dinner buffet is priced at $43.80++ per pax.
The menu offers 3 one time dishes: buddha jump over the wall, fried soon hock in HK style and wasabi prawn mayo with fish roe. These dishes are served with quality and the ingredients are so fresh.
There are a wide range of dishes to choose from the menu and they can be repeatedly ordered depending on your preferences. All ingredients are fresh and are served with the right taste and texture. All 11 of us enjoyed the delicious, mouth watering dishes.
The best part was that the food was cooked with no msg. Some must order dishes are as follow:
1. Jellyfish
2. Prawn salad
3. Prawn roll
4. Roast duck
5. Roast chicken
6. Stir fried beef with mushrooms
7. Spinach in trio eggs
8. Lemongrass jelly with mixed fruits
For big eaters who enjoys Chinese food, Peony Jade ala-carte buffet is recommended. We love the soothing ambience and delicious food. A restaurant suitable for family and large group of friends gathering.
