We bought this Groupon offer on a cold and rainy evening today. Togi korean restaurant is offering their beef or chicken budae jjigae at $22.80 instead of the original $38. The jjigae is enough to be shared between 2 persons.
There was no vacant table on their 1st level when we reached about 645pm. Fortunately they had level 2 to cater for the crowd. Being any typical korean restaurant, they serve unlimited side dishes.
The side dishes include kimchi, marinated cucumber and beansprouts, potato, ikan bilis and broccoli. They were ordinary. The jjigae was served thereafter. It cosists of slices of beef salami, ham, sausages, tokpokki slices, mushrooms, kimchi, onions and tofu with ramen in hot, spicy soup.
The soup base was rather disappointing. It was lacking of the usual jjigae taste. Nothing comparable to Yoganne army stew.
Fortunately it was on Groupon offer, else do not think it is worth their original price.

Not being too satisfied, we went over to Chinatown Point to look for dessert. We stumbled upon a stall selling gelato and was so attracted by their many flavors they offer.
The stall is called Paulinni and it offers waffle as dessert too. We ordered their grande cup with 2 choices: after 8 and chendol flavor.
These 2 gelato are simply awesome in taste, especially for the After 8 which really tasted like ice cream. Though it was pricey at $9.90, we love it every bit. Awesome gelato stall to try.
