Money digest is offering 1 for 1 deals for Manhattan Fish Market till 12 March 17. In addition to the 1 for 1 deals, the sets could be bundled with $10 mocktail sets. With this value for money deal, the restaurant seemed to be packed with lots of people.
We made a reservation earlier in the afternoon for 5 pax. My sis and brother in law ordered the dory and fried mushroom set while we had the pollack and dory set.
We ordered additional fried calamari mocktail set and also an extra spaghetti in the sea for my nephew. Though there was this offer, the food portion still stayed the same. The dory and pollack fish deep fried crisply but the batter was a little too thick.
The fried mushrooms batter accompanying the set were thick and could hardly taste the mushrooms. The fried calamari was slightly better.
Among the dishes, the spaghetti seemed to be the best. Cooked with tomato base, there were mussels, prawn and sotong in the spaghetti. The pasta is not the best but was still acceptable.
Overall, with the 1 for 1 deal, it is considered to be a good deal but we personally still prefer Fish and Co for their batter and fish quality.
