Lotus Thai, a Thai restaurant located along Jln Besar, has offered a good deal to grab on Eatigo. During dinner times, it is offering their food and drinks menu at 40% off. The restaurant is a 12mins walk from Bugis MRT exit B. It can be easily located as long as you walk along the road.
Not missing such a good deal, we ordered our few favourite dishes for dinner. They are:
1. Steam sea bass with thai lemon sauce
2. Sambal Kangkong
3. Green chicken curry
First came the green curry. Guess this dish was the easiest to make as we believe the curry should be cooked in a huge pot and then scooped to serve. The curry is slightly watery but taste is still rich. Chicken was tender but portion was a little small.
There were only 6pcs of chicken in the bowl. Not too coconuty too. The sambal kangkong came after that. This vegetable dish was well fried. Not too spicy yet fragrant. They stir fried the vegetables with onion. Lastly, our long awaited seabass was served. The fish was served in piping hot lemon sauce.
Very fresh fish cooked with appetizing lemon sauce. Kevin and I couldn't stop drinking the sauce. A very worthwhile dish to order with the discount. Thumbs up.
Overall ambience was good as well. Not much crowd and we could actually sit and enjoy our food slowly. Do give this wonderful restaurant a try!
