After our cycling trip in Sentosa, we dropped by Food Republic on the 3rd floor of Vivo City for dinner since it is conveniently beside the Sentosa Express train station.
Feeling real hungry, we went for Washoku Goen, a Japanese stall popular for their curry rice and donburi.

Washoku Goen is known for their huge portion, especially for their chicken cutlet curry rice. One portion can easily be shared by 2. Since we have tried their curry rice before, we decided to try their chicken katsu don instead.
Most dons are usually served in bowls, but we were surprised that the don has to be served on a plate. Portion was huge! Taste wise was ok, a little on the wet side.
Chicken cutlet was tender as usual but the egg mixture could have been done better. But for the portion, it is definitely worth the price.

For a value for money Japanese meal, Washoku Geon is definitely a stall to try.
