Teochew Bak Kut Teh at Big Box Jurong East


We are back at Big Box to try out the other stalls. Previously we recommended the tze char and thai stalls, today we are back to try the bak kut teh.

There were lots of seats available and we ordered their special bak kut teh and pig stomach soup set. Besides bak kut teh, the special set comes with side dishes like braised peanuts, tau pok, tau gua. 



We ordered extra you tiao and salted vege to go with the soup. Soup was peppery but tasty. Nothing too fantastic to comment on. The side dishes were average tasting. The best dish was the pig stomach soup. The innards were soft enough.


In conclusion, Teochew bak kut teh loses out to others like Old Street.
