Our first Korean meal since our trip back from Korea 3 weeks ago. It was raining continuously since afternoon and we longed for some hot piping soup to warm our body. The first thing that came into our mind was Korean kimchi soup or army stew!
We decided to drop by J-Story as they have value for money set meals. Hubby ordered kimchi ham and sausage soup with rice, fried saba and seafood pancake. The meals come with free flow of side condiments like kimchi and salad.
The kimchi wasn't fantastic and it's nothing close to those in chorea. The seafood pancake came first. Each slice was evenly distributed with ingredients and well fried.
It was tasty enough and there was no need for the sauce. The kimchi soup was hot and spicy, not lacking of ingredients as well. Every mouthful definitely warmed our tummy. Saba fish came last.
It was fried with slight batter and could taste the freshness of the fish. Overall food was quite value for money.
