Managed by a group of 3 young ladies, Coffee Tribe is a modern coffee chain serving toasts and many other local dishes as early as 8am in the morning till night. Its located beside S11 coffee shop in AMK central.
Prices are on par like Ya Kun and many other kopi chains. What stands out is the way their kopi is made. Served in transparant mugs, the kopi is very well stirred and tasted very much like kopi tahrik instead of the usual kopi. We love its smooth kopi taste. Rating: 4.2/5
As for their food, a little on the average side. The nonya mee siam tasted ok with the siew mai add ons. A combo set like this with kopi costs $6.90. I ordered their tuna toast which turned out rather flat. Price is a little steep at $4.50 for the portion. Ya kun will be a better option for such tuna toast. Rating: 3.5/5
For a young startup, they deserve the encouragement. Hopefully food standard will get better and be as good as their drinks.
