Peach Garden is offering 50% off all ala-carte menu at certain timing via Eatigo. Prices on the original menu are on the steep side, thus through Eatigo, more customers are willing to give the restaurant a try.
There are several outlets of Peach Garden and a few of us were at the Raffles place branch for dinner today.
1. Wasabi and salted egg prawn ($27) - love the wasabi prawn with every sauce coating the prawn. There were only 6 of them and could still taste the prawn freshness admist the wasabi salad sauce. Rating: 4/5
2. Fried eggplant with pork floss ($14.90) - a great appetizer dish to start with. Crispy eggplant tossed in generous amount of pork floss. Rating: 4/5
3. Sweet and sour pork ($22) - lovely dish with small chunky pork cubes cooked with sweet and sour sauce and lychee. The tanginess was just right and goes really well with a bowl of white rice. Rating: 4/5
4. Spinach with trio eggs ($20) - the most generous portion of all dishes. The stock tasted just fine and with the trio eggs added the sweetness to the dish. Was among the better spinach dish eaten. Rating: 4.1/5
Overall, Peach Garden serves a good variety and taste of Cantonese dishes. But prices as compared to portion can be a little steep thus to enjoy the best of both portions, could go for the Eatigo offers while promotions are still on.
