Located at the corner of Beach Road along the same stretch of restaurants as Ah Loy Thai opposite Bugis Junction, this small cosy restaurant offers yakitori cuisine and some other Japanese sides. The interior of the restaurant could only house about 20 people at most with a few al-fresco dining outside. It's rather popular with the working class on a Fri evening whereby many would gather for drinks and sticks.
Via Eatigo, there was 50% discount on all ala-carte menu. We were there at 6:30pm and there weren't many customers at the moment. The staff were friendly and lively. Below is what that had been ordered:
1. Yaki udon ($10.90) - stir fried yaki udon with some shredded cabbage and sprouts. A very simple dish that don't deserve any wow factor. Rating: 3.2/5
2. Yakitori sticks ($2.50 to $4.90) - we ordered chicken glizzard, chicken with cheese, chicken meatballs and beef with golden mushroom. We found the yakitori sticks on a little salty though the meat was tender. I enjoyed the chicken with cheese the most. Rating: 3.5/5
3. Fried salmon katsu ($14.90) - one of the best dishes we had. Lightly battered salmon fillet deep fried and accompanied with mentaiko sauce and shredded cabbage as side. The salmon was fresh and very well done. Rating: 4/5
4. Squid ika ($15.90) - tenderly grilled whole squid with teriyaki sauce. I like the texture of the squid but the marination wasn't well done. The ika was a little plain when savored slowly. Rating: 3.6/5
Overall, the dishes portion were small and we found it more worth while with Eatigo. For good yakitori sticks, would definitely still prefer Yakitori House at Far East Plaza.
A summary of what we had:

My overall ratings:
