Following after their first outlet at Tanjong Pagar Center, Sbcd opened their 2nd and much bigger outlet at Millenia Walk, taking over the previous Outback Restaurant.
The restaurant space is big but they seemed to be lacking of servers. We had to wait for 10 mins before getting one server's attention though there were empty tables around. When asked for tea, we had to approach 3 servers before tea was served. This happened to the table next to us as well.
Other than the slightly slow service, we must give thumbs up to their food. We ordered the spicy grilled chicken combo which comes with grilled chicken on hotplate and their signature soontofu. At $28.90, the combo set comes with sides and hotstone rice.
The chicken was tenderly grilled and very well marinated. We had the beef soontofu with regular spiciness. The tofu was smooth and it goes excellently well with a fragrant bowl of rice. Rating: 4/5
We also had their unagi hotplate special at $19.90. 330g of tenderly grilled unagi on hotplate is nothing more one can ask with the price. The unagi is so fresh and simply delicious!! Rating: 4.2/5
We love the food there and with HSBC card, you can entitle 15% discount which is extremely worthwhile especially for the unagi special. So do visit Sbcd one of these days!
