Som Tam, a modern fusion Thai restaurant, is another chain of restaurants under Jus Delish group. Located on the 8th floor of Orchard Central, Som Tam aim to delight diners with unique local Thai cuisine with a touch of modern taste.
With Eatigo offer at 50% off all food menu, Som Tam is definitely worth a try. The service was prompt and staff were friendly. We ordered 4 dishes in all:
1. Olive fried rice ($13.80) - olive taste was extremely strong. A little too strong to my liking. But in terms of ingredients, it was generous. Rating: 3.5/5
2. Oozy chicken ($12.80) - deep fried seasoned chicken with creamy salted egg chicken. The chicken was tender and tasted real delicious and sinful. Rating: 4/5
3. Tuna & Tofu Salad ($11.80) - Aburi tuna salad tossed with peanut and sesame sauce. It has pcs of tofu and small shrimps and was very refreshing as an appetizer. Rating: 3.8/5
4. Tom yum Kang ($15.80) - crayfish tom yum soup. This dish was a little disappointing as the crayfish wasn't too fresh. Rating: 3/5
Portion of the dishes are just right for 2 to 3 pple and ambience is great for frenz and family gathering as it isn't too crowded. We should be back to try their ala carte dishes given the discount given.
