Kimchi Korean Restaurant need no further introduction at Suntec City as this restaurant has been here since 4 years ago. It is owned by a very handsome young boss Haden Hee. Kimchi serves very very good stews and we are here today for it. There are 2 types of stew, the normal kimchi ones and rice cake ones.
Being tokpokki lovers, we opted for the rice cake stew. We ordered their cheesy deep fried chicken rice cake stew and never regretted it. Haha!
The ingredients of the stew are served to you freshly and you can put them in one by one yourself. Ingredients include tokpokki, instant noodles, hard boiled egg, bonito flakes, cheddar cheese, glass noodles, dumplings, spam, vermiceilli seaweed rolls, cabbage and leeks and lastly, fried chicken pcs.
The sides like kimchi and radish are free flow and the vegetables are so fresh. At $46, this stew is good for 2 to 3 persons. The stew is much thicker than the usual budae jiggae and it tasted like topokki sauce. Simply a very delicious stew worth trying!!
We will definitely be back to try their other new creations like snow butter cheesy chicken. With the excellent food, service and ambience, why not?? :-)
