Ginger Thai is a contemporary Thai cuisine located at Cuppage Terrace along the many other restaurants. The indoor seats are limited as Cuppage Terrace is more well known for its outdoor activities.
Via Eatigo, Ginger Thai is offering 30% off all food menu at 6pm. We opted to seat indoor as the weather was a little too hot. We had the following recommended dishes:
1. Suicide ginger chicken ($19) - indeed suicidal as the name states, especially for those who don't eat spicy. The sauce is made of 3 different chilli and fried with chicken pcs on hotplate. The portion is small and not worth the price. Rating: 3/5
2. Thai kangkong ($12) - the kangkong was fragrantly fried with garlic and chilli padi. A great vegetable dish. Rating: 3.8/5
3. Ginger kailan and beef ($14) - this is the nicest dish of all. The beef slices were tender and kailan so wonderfully fried with carrot. Yummy! Rating: 4/5
4. Stuffed chicken wing ($10) - the chicken spice taste was tad too strong. Rating: 3.7/5
5. Mango salad ($12) - not too bad a dish to start as an appetizer. A little sweet and would be good if the mango are more thinly shredded. Rating: 3.5/5
The overall service was great but its not the place to eat authentic thai food. More for a mix of drink and fusion thai food.
