MorganField's is definitely another great place for ribs besides Tony Romas. Portion is generous and service was excellent at the Star Vista branch. We were here today to have a little bossy gathering. We had lots of fun with great company and food.
Back to the main category, we ordered quite a bit. We had 4 different appetizers:
1. Sauteed mushrooms ($10.90) - sliced mushrooms with garlic powder. Tasted delicious. Rating: 4/5
2. Beer battered onion rings ($9.90) - deep fried onion rings that tasted good with beer itself. Rating: 4/5
3. Fried calamari ($12.90) - the batter was a little too thick but the calamari was fresh and soft. Rating: 3.5/5
4. Loaded chilli nachos ($13.90) - we love this appetizer best! Loads of pulled pork and corn with nacho cheese on tortilla chips. Abdolutely delicious! Rating: 4.2/5
5. Carnivore platter ($99.90) - serves 3 to 4 pple. Full slab of ribs with chicken, fries, salad, sausages and muffins. Portion is way too big. The special bbq rum flavour chosen ribs did not taste as good and ribs were a little hard and dry. Chicken was tough too. Rating: 3.5/5
6. Ribs sampler ($99.90) - similar to carnivore platter but instead of chicken, it has 3 half slabs of ribs of your choice. We opted for the garlic, black pepper and spicy bbq. The ribs were softer, juicier and tastier. Sausages were crunchy and juicy as well. Rating: 4/5
MorganField's, being an American chain restaurant is known for its big portion so remember to bring a group of frenz with you to enjoy the variety!
