Kajiken, Japan's mazesoba, has opened its 2nd shop at Novena Square 2. Maze means mix it and soba means noodles, so it means mix the noodles! As per standard rule by the restaurant, we are suppose to mix the noodles in 20s.
The noodles are dry and they come with a small cup of soup. The signature will be mazesoba nagoya style. Noodles tossed with spicy minced pork, spring onions and soft boil egg. The noodles are very springy and not dry at all due to the wetness from the egg. Lovely! Rating: 4/5
There are a few other choices, like with fried chicken or all toppings. They tasted all about the same, but we personally prefer the nagoya style. For more flavours, you can add in vinegar and chilli oil. The fried chicken is tender and awesome in taste.
Prices are ranged from $12.30 to $15.80. Additional toppings can also be added. Kajiken is definitely recommended if you want to eat dry ramen. The other branch will be at Orchid Hotel.
