Treasures Yi Dian Xin by Imperial Treasure at Raffles City Shopping Center

A new casual dining concept that serves a delectable range of dim sum and HongKong cantonese cuisine. Treasures Yi Dian Xin aspires to deliver the "Art of Daily Luxury" through reasonably priced dishes with quality ingredients.

The branch at Raffles City Shopping Center is located at the basement beside MOS Cafe. The staff are very friendly, each showing their smiley face upon ushering you to the seats. We were there for their dim sum dishes and during evening times, they offer 20% discount off their dim sum dishes. We had the following:

1. Charcoal salted egg yolk custard bun ($5.80) - this is a MUST try dish!! The filling is thick and very delicious accompanied by their soft bao skin. Rating: 4.5/5


2. Char Siew Su ($5) - this was ordinary as we found the skin not flaky and buttery enough. Rating: 3.5/5


3. Pork and shrimp siew mai ($5.80) - 4 juicy and crunchy siew mai. Accrptable with no WOW factor. Rating: 3.5/5


4. Black fungus with vinegar and sesame oil ($10.80) - this is a pricey dish but we must give 2 thumbs up for it. The fungus is very crunchy and appetizing. So well marinated and every fungus is soaked well with the seasoning. Rating: 4.5/5


5. Fried springroll ($4) - crispy homemade springroll not to our liking as the filling was a little gooey. Rating: 3.2/5


6. Steam mushroom dumpling ($4.80) - 3 fat and juicy dumplings worth a try. The skin is crystal thin and the filling is delicious. Great for mushroom lovers. Rating: 4/5


Treasures Yi Dian Xin can be considered as a great family dim sum restaurant worth a try. The dim sum choices are much more as compared to Crystal Jade. Do drop by one day for dim sum!
