Gin Khao was first opened along East Coast Parkway in 2015. It offers authentic Thai quality cuisine in a modern way. A member of Jus Delish group, and together with its sister restaurants like Som Tam, they are very innovative with their menu creations.
Eatigo is once again offering 50% discount off all ala carte menu at Gin Khao. Located on the 4th floor of the building, it is right at the corner around the escalator.
We ordered 4 dishes in all:
1. Gai Tod Tom Yum ($10.80) - 6 crispily fried juicy winglets coated with tom yum flavouring. We couldn't taste much of the tom yum and they tasted more like har cheong gai. Rating: 3.2/5
2. Yum Mamuang ($8.80) - this is the mango salad dish. A very well done appetizer to kick start with to open up our appetite. Rating: 3.8/5
3. Stir fried squid with runny salted egg sauce ($16.80) - the squid is so tender with the right texture. The thick runny salted egg sauce enhances the taste and we think it would be great if the squid is deep fried. Rating: 4/5
4. Khao Phat Supparod Talay ($13.80) - a generous portion of seafood pineapple fried rice. The rice is very fragrantly fried and the tuneric taste is strong. We love this taste! Rating: 4/5
Above 4 dishes cost us $29.55 after discount. A very hearty meal worth its cost and will be back to try more dishes like Phad Thai. Hopefully by then there will be more food servers as this poor lady was handling food serving, ordering and cahiering at one go.
