This is an old time favorite Korean restaurant at Concorde Hotel. They are previously located within Concorde Hotel on level 2 but the restaurant space was a little small, thus they shifted to a bigger area on level 1 near the hotel entrance facing the main road.
The restaurant was packed with people when we reached there about 7pm today. There were many students and had to wait for a while for our table. We sat along the sides facing the wall. Order was self service and payment to be made before ordering food.
We ordered their spicy chicken set, korean ramen and tokpokki. Portion was certainly generous. The spicy chicken set was served on hotplate. The dish had huge portion of tender chicken slices, cabbage and leek.
The soup accompanying it was very delicious as well. I love their marinated spicy cucumber slices as side dish. Goes so well with the chicken.
Kevin had his ramen. Not spicy and noodles were cooked to the right texture. So springy. We both love the tokpokki best! Korean rice cake simmered in hot red tokpokki sauce with one hard boil egg.
The dish was so authentic and it brought us back to the dishes we had in Myeongdong. Yummy!
