Kazokutei is a Japanese restaurant popular for their steam rice and udon dishes. The restaurant is situated opposite Chir Chir chicken where renovation is still in progress. Kazokutei is part of Ajisen group where members are entitled to the 10% discount.

My chicken wappa set comes with pork cutlet, chawamushi and miso soup. Wappa gozen is actually steam japanese rice in bamboo holders.
The rice is mixed with chicken pcs, mushrooms and lightly seasoned. A very healthy japanese rice dish.
The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside but a little tough to bite through. Chawamushi was smooth and silky. Hubby's udon was very good. Served in hot pot, there was generous portions of pork slices, vegetables and tofu.
The kimchi added good spice to the tasty broth and udon so smooth and springy. Thumbs up for this dish!
