Soi Thai Kitchen is newly located on the 4th floor of Jcube. The small restaurant is tucked away at a cosy corner beside the cinema.
With about 20 to 30 seater area, this authentic Thai restaurant is managed by pure Thais and the chefs in the kitchen has more than 30yrs of experience.

We tried 3 of their highly recommended dishes.
1. Beef pranaeng ($11) - supposedly stewed beef in thick curry sauce. The sauce is awesome but the beef slices or chunks were extremely tough. It was rather hard to chew. We should have gone for their chicken pranaeng instead as chicken meat should be more tender. Rating: 3.4/5
2. Phad thai ($6) - fragrantly fried flat noodles with seafood. The ingredients were little and the noodles taste was strong. Was a little disappointed with the dish. Rating: 3/5
3. Papaya salad ($6) - thinly shredded green papaya tossed in fish sauce and nuts. The salad was lacking the tanginess and was salty. Rating: 3/5
4. Red ruby ($3) - crunchy water chestnut bits in coconut milk and crushed ice. Portion was generous but found the dessert a tad sweet. Rating: 3.2/5
All dishes are priced with no gst and service charge.
Soi Thai Kitchen is still economical for families and students.
