Tim Ho Wan has recently introduced several new items to their menu. Menu used to be a paper serving as a placemat on the table but now it has become a menu booklet with more dishes introduced.
I would like to introduce 3 of their new dishes that we have tried.
1. Pork dumplings in hot and spicy sauce ($6.40) - a dish that deserves 2 thumbs up. We call this 抄手 in China and the mince garlic with finely cut chilli added much flavor to the dish. The vinegarette opens our appetite entirely and dish is seriously addictive. Rating: 4.2/5
2. Sesame ball with molten salted egg ($4.80) - this can be served as a dessert dish. Hot and crunchy sesame ball with oozing molten salted egg filling. The skin is thin and crunchy and would define as simply awesome! Rating: 4/5
3. Spicy prawn paste and bbq pork stew noodles ($7) - basically like HK fried noodles. Could not taste its spiciness unlike what the name suggested. Rating: 3.2/5
There are many more new dishes to try like the fried milk custurd, beef noodles etc. So do stay tune for more reviews.
