Months ago, we reviewed the Japanese food at this cafe (Click here to have a look). Here we are back today to try out their western food dishes.
Similarly like the Japanese food, orders have to be done at the cashier and food is self service. We ordered their recommended set meals: grilled chicken chop with mushroom sauce and breaded fish and chips.
Each set meal comes with either soup/salad, a drink and free dessert. We didn't pin too much expectations as each set only cost $9.90.
Surprisingly the food turned out quite good! The chicken was tenderly grilled and mushroom sauce so addictive. The poached vegetables was a very healthy side.
We expected canned mushroom soup but we were wrong. The soup was freshly prepared with bits of fresh mushrooms in every spoonful. Besides the delicious chicken chop, the breaded fish and chips were well done as well.
Thinly crumbed fish fillet fried to the right crispiness and accompanied with coleslaw and fries. Both sets are definitely value for money meals.
In and Out Cafe can be considered as an affordable cafe for family, students and frenz.
