Paradise Classic is another concept restaurant of Paradise group serving higher end local Chinese dishes ranging from nourishing soup to mains like roasted chicken to desserts like mango pudding. There are currently 2 outlets in SG, 1 at MBS and the other at Jewel Changi.
Given time off today, we were at their Jewel branch for dinner. The service crew are certainly friendly and with Paradise Group offering 20 % discount for dine-in, it has attracted a good crowd. We ordered 4 dishes in total:
1. White pepper pig stomach soup ($10.90) - portion is for 1 person. Rich and nourishing soup with soft pig stomach, chicken feet and pork ribs. Love the taste . It is not as thick and cloudy as 老火汤 but definitely rich and tasty. Rating: 4.2/5
2. Hotplate tofu ($16.90) - one big pc of homemade tofu on hotplate with minced pork and mushrooms. The tofu is silky and smooth and overall very delicious. Rating: 4/5
3. Stir fried kailan with garlic ($14.90) - love the deep fried crunchy garlic accompanying the kailan. The extra crunch gives a different texture to the whole dish. Rating: 4.2/5
4. Espresso pork rib ($16.90) - soft tender pork slices lightly coated with gooey coffee sauce. The sauce mix was just right, not too strong in coffee taste. A highly recommended dish to try. Rating: 4.2/5
Overall, Paradise Classic offers a good variety of dishes. Portion is just right and we really enjoyed the top notched quality food.
