Nipong Naepong is a popular Chinese Korean restaurant from Korea opening its 1st branch in Singapore at JEM. It serves 2 kinds of food: jjampong (seafood noodles) and pizza.
Would say if one longs for a fusion of spaghetti and korean noodles, Nipong Naepong can definitely satisfy your craving. There are a variety of seafood noodles to choose, from plain soupy base to cheesy pasta base.
All noodles are cooked with a generous portion of seafood ingredients with clams and mussels being the majority.

We decided to go for their jjampong today:
1. Ro Ppong Roje ($17.80) - blend of tomato and cream base topped with flying fish roe and mozzarella cheese. The noodles are springy and sauces are indeed very delicious. A very good fusion pasta dish to try. Rating: 4/5
2. Tae Ppong ($15.80) - assorted seafood with noodles fried with sweet and spicy sauce. It tasted like jjapchae but the spicier version. Very delicious as well. Rating: 4/5
We simply love the springy noodles and its texture and we will be back to try the rest of the flavours. The pizza dish is a little more exotic like sweet pizza. The more courages ones can go for them. Nipong Naepong has opened its 2nd branch at 313 Somerset. Another great restaurant to choose from when in town 😀!
